Flutter Developer Unpaid Intern (6-Month Path to Full-Time Hire)

Role Overview

Alesa Ai Ltd is looking for a dedicated, technically proficient Flutter App Developer Intern to join our UK-based team. This is a 6-month, strictly unpaid internship designed as a rigorous, performance-based trial with the goal of transitioning high-calibre candidates into permanent, full-time, paid roles at the conclusion of the period.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Translating product requirements and UI designs into responsive, reusable, and production-quality interfaces.
• Building robust client-side business logic and state management using Riverpod.
• Integrating REST APIs, authentication flows, and backend services with Supabase (PostgreSQL).
• Implementing local data persistence, secure storage, and caching mechanisms.
• Implementing and integrating AI features, including LLM-based functionality.
• Collaborating in a 30-40 hour per week, remote environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Flutter & Dart.
• Solid understanding of Riverpod (or Provider/Bloc) and clean application architecture.
• Experience connecting mobile apps to REST APIs and handling JSON.
• Understanding of Supabase/PostgreSQL integration and mobile caching.
• Ability to commit to 30-40 hours per week for the full 6-month unpaid duration.
• Mastery of Git/GitHub for version control.
• Professional English communication skills.

Bonus Skills

• Experience integrating LLM APIs and mobile AI feature flows.
• Familiarity with Flutter unit/widget testing and Flutter DevTools.
• Experience generating Android APK/AAB builds for Google Play Store deployment.
