Full Stack Developer Unpaid Intern (6-Month Path to Full-Time Hire)

Role Overview

Alesa Ai is looking for a dedicated, technically proficient Full Stack Developer Intern to join our UK-based team. This is a 6-month, strictly unpaid internship designed as a rigorous, performance-based trial. The goal is to train high-calibre candidates to become permanent, full-time, paid members of our development team upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining full-stack web applications using Next.js and React.
• Building robust backend logic and APIs using Java and Springboot.
• Designing and managing PostgreSQL databases via Supabase.
• Implementing and integrating AI features, including LLM-based functionality.
• Collaborating with the team in a 30-40-hour-per-week, remote environment.
• Participating in mandatory daily/weekly project meetings and technical sprints.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Next.js & React for building clean, responsive UIs.
• Java & Springboot backend skills for server-side logic.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and Supabase integration.
• Ability to work 30-40 hours per week for the full 6-month unpaid duration.
• Independent problem-solving skills and strict adherence to deadlines.
• English at a conversational/professional level.
• Mastery of Git/GitHub for version control.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with AI integration flows using Groq and Perplexity.
• Experience working with vector databases for AI-driven search and retrieval.
