Data Analyst Intern

Role Overview

DeHaat is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data Engineer Intern to join our Product & Technology team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on building and maintaining robust data pipelines, creating insightful dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. You will be involved in managing data flow across various systems, developing operational dashboards using Frappe Framework / ERPNext, and automating workflows to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot data pipelines across multiple sources including AWS RDS, Amazon Redshift, application databases, APIs, and Google Sheets.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Create Python scripts to automate ETL/ELT workflows, data transformations, and validation processes.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and workflows within the Frappe Framework / ERPNext environment.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON payloads, and webhook integrations to facilitate data exchange.
• Utilize tools like Postman for API testing, debugging, and validation.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for coding assistance and automation.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in computer science and data fundamentals.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Prior experience working with relational databases, ETL/ELT pipelines, and APIs is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with data modeling, dashboard development, and tools like Postman.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Ability to support basic frontend customization using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
