Role Overview
TAQNEEKI is a technology solutions company focused on helping businesses adopt, integrate and leverage modern digital technologies. We are looking for motivated college students and recent graduates for two distinct internship positions: UI/UX Designer Intern and Software Developer Intern — APIs & Integration. This is an unpaid internship providing practical experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a professional portfolio.
Responsibilities
- UI/UX Designer: Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes; design website and application interfaces; work on responsive layouts; conduct user research and usability testing; collaborate with developers to maintain design consistency.
- Software Developer: Learn and work with REST APIs and documentation; assist in building and testing API integrations; work with JSON, HTTP requests, and authentication; support backend development and automation tasks; debug integration issues.
Requirements
- Students or recent graduates in UI/UX Design, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of Figma or similar design tools.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Java.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
