SDE 1

Role Overview

We are looking for an SDE 1 to join our engineering team and work on TestCopilot, a web-based test automation platform. This role is ideal for a Full Stack Developer with around 1 year of hands-on experience who enjoys building products, solving engineering problems, and working across both frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications using React.js, Next.js & TypeScript
• Develop backend services using Node.js, Express.js & MongoDB
• Design, develop and integrate REST APIs and real-time services
• Debug issues, identify root causes and improve application performance
• Design and implement new product features
• Work with Playwright, Appium and test automation technologies
• Contribute to cloud-based test execution and automation workflows
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable and well-tested code
• Collaborate with the engineering team throughout the product development lifecycle

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on software development experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React.js & Next.js
• Good understanding of Node.js & Express.js
• Strong understanding of REST APIs
• Good knowledge of MongoDB
• Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of software development fundamentals
