AUTOMATION ENGINEER L3

Role Overview

The purpose of the role is to design, program, simulate and test the automation product or process to achieve the efficiency and effectiveness required. You will work with Agile delivery teams to develop robust, scalable, and high quality test automation tests for functional, regression and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Instrumental in understanding the software requirements and design of the product and analyzing technology architecture.
• Formulate project plans and contribute to the automation roadmap design and testing process improvements.
• Improve and maintain the automation framework and build out reusable libraries across business line verticals.
• Design and execute software developing and reporting, including test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
• Implement, track, and report key metrics to assure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design and implement automated testing tools and automate processes for software validation.
• Collaborate with Development teams to improve continuous deployment practices.
• Perform backend/database programming for key projects.

Requirements

• Experience in designing, programming, and simulating automation products or processes.
• Ability to work within Agile delivery teams and understand product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of software validation, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Capability to handle complex technical design issues and develop technical specifications.
• Proficiency in backend/database programming.
